Lyrics – Strange one, odd one
She was a strange one, a rather odd one, an outsider,
and all the school boys and all the school girls didn’t like her.
And she was bullied or they were teasing, as they called it.
until the night came and she was crying in bed.
She can’t understand why the other just won’t let her be,
why the only one seeing her plight is she.
And she won’t go to sleep for fear of tomorrow’s day at school…
afraid of the kids, that they say are cool…
Then came a monday, a fateful monday, worse than usual.
She tried complaining but they kept saying it’s no big deal.
On tuesday morning, when first they found her, it was shocking
and some were talking and some were crying for her.
They can’t understand why the strange one would want to step out.
The teacher said he never noticed a thing
and the cool kids all said they all thought it was just fun and games.
They never thought words could more than sting.
She was a strange one, a rather odd one, an outsider.
And all the cool boys and all the cool girls didn’t like her….
